Engines in boxes

The Nanni marine diesels with ZF gearboxes have arrived from France via Nanni Diesel Australia.

We got them at a very good off season and boat show price, however they took nearly 4 months to be fitted with the V drive gearboxes before the travel, presumably as it was the on season in Europe. Nine photos below show part of quite a struggle to get them in position on site via a route under the bridge deck.

This bottle, a gift from Nanni Australia was found in one engine crate only 😦
