Yesterday, I received an internet order from Sam Allen Wholesale, a 20kg box with most items required to fit a steering system for Binary. The items required to complete the kit are various mounting screws and bolts, pipe brackets and about 30m of 3/8 OD copper pipe and of course rudders, stocks, tillers and shafts.
My long search for specifications suitable for Binary ended with UltraFlex’s UK distributor Aquafax and their excellently detailed document. The calculation detail on page 25 was simple to work with and then the selection of a matched set of suitable components very easy (see last four photos below) . Great technical support was also then forthcoming from Sam Allen Wholesale.
