Bits of duflex to make a hatch or two

In my air conditioned ex-pool-room workshop, I can’t do any cutting or sanding but I can mark out, assemble, glue and tape. The pool table makes a very accurate and solid workbench with a 25mm plywood top. I think I will make up a lot of smaller fittings during this build-up to monsoon period.

Shown here are scrap bits of 16mm duflex to make up two of the layers for the access hatches, the doubling layer and the layer for the combined drain gutter and sealing surface. Plywood templates and parts for the second hatch appear in the centre of the layup and in the background.
