Tread and Shelf

The following photos show the fitout in both sail lockers: a long narrow shelf to reinforce the large sheer panel section and hold a boat hook; and tread to step down into and out of this 1000mm deep locker. These are good ideas from our friends Bryan and Rowena who are building “Schools Out”, an Oram 44C on steroids.

I routed out and filled the Duflex edges with glue and taped over. Then I glued the pieces into the chosen locations and taped in place.
