I decided to make a minimum of portals between, into and out of the engine compartments. Therefore, I constructed two 100mm conduits fore and aft, each angled individually, to meet the chamfer panels under the aft bunks. Additionally a 65mm cross conduit for fuel, raw water and hydraulics was fitted to blend into the larger conduits.
Below – There is a break slightly offset of centre bridge-deck to allow easy access to controls managing the fluids passing from hull to hull.
Below – The longer unsupported sections of 65mm were strapped to the forward web of the beam with scrap unidirectional glass.
