In our spare time we have been making u-shaped bonding angles to assist in blind internal taping. The current blind taping requirement is for two rectangular box section beams, 4230mm long, made up from long off-cut Duflex.
These beams will replace a traditional catwalk and will have, topside, a fixed walkway panel on the forward half and a lift-up hatch-like walkway panel on the rear. Below the top panels, recessed between the beams and pivoted just forward of the deck leading edge will be a 2400mm stairway. The stair will be made when I get around to it, and will be raised and lowered by tackle mounted at the fore beam. Naturally, these beams will provide horizontal support to the trampolines.
Below – The beam vertical panels cut out and clamped for sanding to a uniform size.
Below – The vertical panels ready for the beams.
Below – Not a strip-planked deck in the making, these are the horizontal panels for the beams.

Now all the bits for the beams have been cut, sanded and prepared, I think I can convince Judy to make them.
