Today I decided to complete the compartments under the sail locker floor, principally to take advantage of the better access prior to fitting the top bow chamfer panels and refitting the head bulkheads.
I have marked out a template of the sail locker floor panel and made void internal taping ‘shelves’, here shown fitted under tension only as they are a little oversized.
Again my 11year old assistant was able to help greatly as, even though he is built like a 14year old, he is able to more easily fit in here and we very quickly had all the bits together and will glue and tape tomorrow.
This is only the forward compartment, there will be another aft of this front horizontal support bulkhead when the head bulkheads are refitted.
