Deck and companionway side panels

I made a number of panels using Duflex off-cuts. It is a bit slow, but ensures the use of substantial off-cuts. These bits and pieces form panels for both side decks and the companion way sides. I first off made the deck panels, then dry fitted with the self supporting ‘H’ joins. I could then make up the companionway sides, with minimal waste, to the height best to ensure a fair fore and aft deck curve.

Below – the bits and pieces panel fitted without glue, the ‘H’ joins and sheer panel top only supporting all of Scouts 5kg.
