The layup and bagging is now complete and last night I attached the vacuum hoses to the CVI workstation and Judy slowly applied the vacuum whilst I checked that the materials laid down correctly. There was one small area, in a corner of the gutter, where the resin distribution media (RDM) did not overlap. A bit of careful fiddling through the bag fixed that and also two leaks in the plumbing.
The fiddling meant applying and removing the vacuum several times, producing a good result. So on encouragement from Judy, and despite the time being 4am, I added resin feeder lines and mixed some resin. The infusion speed surprised me greatly.
