This task was to create and complete both forward lockers and associated hatches. The photos mostly show the port locker however the starboard is an exact mirror image.
It has taken us through a large range of techniques and skills we haven’t addressed before up to and including completed fit-out. This was a deliberate process to give us (me in particular) confidence and even though it has taken a long time, it has equipped us well for the upper structure completion of Binary.
The first three photos below show the Jotocote 605 up to the deck bonding space.
Below is the external view of the hatch gutter and the locker drains.
Below are three views of the plumbing in and out fitting to the holding tank.
The next two views are of the holding tank.
Below is looking aft at the holding tank and the hatch gutter drains. The locker drain port to the left on the floor, just visible (click on image to select original size ) forward of the exiting gutter drain piping.
The next three are different views of the locker internals.
Below is looking forward.
