Final Hull Turning – Port Hull Upright

Finally, after having sat upside-down for the past 16 months, the port hull was ready to go back to its upright position. We are becoming quite efficient at this now – this final turn, in the tightest of conditions, took a total of four people (Tom and myself, along with Iain and Michael who generously took a break from their own boat building), three winches, two car trolley jacks, two ropes, one strap and a few planks of timber to achieve. The photos are limited because I was mostly busy getting yelled at whilst I tried to do my bit, and the image quality poor due to the trusty (but cheap) resin-coated Fuji Finepix being on it’s last legs.
