Fore Beam Installed

With this post this building log has become the driest boat building blog.

I have now finished taping in the top bow chamfer panels and therefore the installation of the fore beam is complete. First, two photos of the inserts prior to taping…

Then I took these photos after removing the peel ply to start the marking out of the blocking installation for the fwd deck and associated cleat.

The blocking will be cut from the rough cut 19mm ply piece in the right of this photo and its mate just visible on the starboard bow.
